WGR Trust Sources of Funding

A charitable trust, known as The Wakefield Gastroenterology Research Trust, was established in 1994 to administer personal donations and public funds (eg Health Research Council, Lotteries Commission, Cancer Society, Wellington Medical Research Foundation) awarded for support of our research programmes. Wherever possible grant applications are made to such organisations to assist with finances. Wakefield Hospital Ltd and The Wakefield Clinic both make considerable financial contributions to the research programme each year.

We require in excess of $500,000 per annum to support our work. Individual donations or bequests are gratefully received.
